The Network of Regional Governments for Sustainable Development, nrg4SD was launched in 2002 during the World Summit on Sustainable Development, which took place in Johannesburg. The nrg4SD Network aims to be a voice for, and to represent regional governments at the global level, promoting sustainable development and partnerships at the regional level around the world.
